The Adhiparasakthi Dental College & Hospital was established with the noblest aim of providing affordable healthcare to the downtrodden and weaker sections of the society. It is at the forefront of organizing community dental health care programs periodically. Situated in the Holy Land of Melmaruvathur, nearly 100 kilometers south of Chennai along the NH-45, the Adhiparasakthi Dental College was established in the year 2005, and the Hospital in the year 2012 as constituent institutions of the Adhiparasakthi Charitable, Medical, Educational and Cultural Trust (ACMEC). The institutions have been recognized and approved by the Govt. of Tamilnadu and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, Dental Council of India and is affiliated to Dr. MGR Medical University.

We have a sprawling campus of 27.8 acres that encompasses the college and hospital buildings, staff quarters, guest house, boys and girls hostel, auditorium, Wi-Fi facility, canteen, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, gymnasium, ICT enabled class rooms, 700 bedded medical hospital, well maintained gardens and parking facility for patients, staff and students.

The Institution has facilities to organise both indoor and outdoor sports. The college has well-planned and neatly designed sport-specific playgrounds to host various outdoor games such as cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton, athletic tracks, etc. The complete set of sports equipments are also in place. A specially designed indoor stadium and a highly specialized gymnasium that is shared with the Adhiparasakthi Engineering College are also present.

The College has a Hospital Block and an Academic Block. The Hospital Block houses the 9 dental departments with 269 dental chairs, adequate pre-clinical laboratories, clinical areas, patient waiting areas and seminar rooms with state of the art equipment's. The Institution has an exclusive engineering section with highly qualified engineers and adequate support staff to supervise and maintain the infrastructure and other equipments of the Institution.well-structured system (comprising Hospital Committee/ IQAC and HOD’s) is in place for deciding the real-time infrastructural requirements and their timely implementation. Phased renovation and upgradation of all the 9 departments have been carried out in the last two years. A class room complex with four ICT enabled class rooms that include facilities like smart boards and Visualizers have been made available.

The Institution has two fully air-conditioned conference halls with a seating capacity of 125 and 50 respectively. In addition, the college have a centrally air-conditioned auditorium that can accommodate 600 persons with custom Audio-Visual facilities

The Institution has a spacious library spread over an area of 8700 sq.ft. with enough seating capacity to accommodate 275 persons. he boys and girls hostel have 73 and 143 rooms respectively. Rooms of varied sizes capable of accommodating a varied strength of inmates are available. Each room is well equipped with good ventilation and lighting facilities and neatly furnished with cots, study tables, cupboards, tables, chairs, etc. The hostel has a round-the-clock (24 hour) power back up facility and an efficient R. O. system to provide clean and pure drinking water.

Phases Of Online Counselling: There are four rounds of counselling

The candidates should have secured the following cut-off scores and above in NEET PG-2024

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-

• Candidates should be Citizens of India and should have undergone BDS course including the entire Compulsory Residential Rotatory Internship (CRRI) period in the State of Tamil Nadu and they should have registered with the Tamil Nadu Dental Council.
• Candidates who are Natives of Tamil Nadu completed BDS in other State should furnish their Certificates of Nativity of Tamil Nadu issued by the competent authority and supported by the following documents: Valid copy of Aadhar Card, Driving Licence, Voter’s ID, Passport and Proof of Parent’s Documents is Mandatory (Aadhar Card and School Certificates) If copy of the supporting documents is not produced, then the application will be summarily rejected.
• Candidates seeking admission to MDS course, they have to qualify the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- NEET MDS 2021 conducted by the National Board of Examinations. The eligibility criteria prescribed by Directorate General of Health Service, Government of India, New Delhi, in accordance with the MDS Course Regulations, 2017 notified by the Dental Council of India (DCI) with prior approval of Minister of Health and Family Welfare Department (MoHFW), Government of India, New Delhi shall taken into account for admission to MDS Course in the academic year
• Candidates who have cleared their BDS Examination and completed / completing the CRRI period on or before 31-03-2021 are only eligible to apply. However the candidates should possess the Permanent Dental Council Registration Certificate of the States or of India or the Provisional Registration Certificate of the Dental Council at the time of the counselling.
• Candidates should possess BDS Degree awarded by the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University or any other Universities recognized by the Dental Council of India and Candidates who have qualified from other Universities except Annamalai University should produce ELIGIBILITY CERTIFICATE from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Guindy, Chennai-600 032 at the time of Counselling.The online prospectus for admission to MDS Courses in 2024-2025 session in Tamil Nadu Government Dental Colleges, and for admission to Government seats in Self Financing DentalColleges affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, can be accessed from the following websites:

Application fee:

Application Fee for Government: (a) at the time of Application all candidates must pay the application fee of Rs.3, 000/- (Non Refundable)  Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyar) / Scheduled Tribe candidates with Tamil Nadu nativity are exempted from payment of the cost of online application. Prospectus is available online free of cost. (b) At the time of registration for counselling, all candidates must pay the following Fee: Non Refundable registration fee for counselling process is Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only)

(i) For Government Dental Colleges-Rs. 30,000/- (ii) For Government Quota in Self Financing Dental Colleges– Rs.1,00,000/-

Application Fee for Management: a) At the time of applying, all candidates must pay the application fee of Rs. 5,000/- , Application fee is non refundable (Prospectus is available online free of cost) (b) At the time of registration for counselling, all candidates must pay the non refundable registration fee of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only).

Security Deposit:

For Management Quota in Self-Financing Dental Colleges—Rs. 200,000/-

• The security deposit will be refunded to the candidates who could not get any seat in any phase of counselling within three months after the end of the entire counselling process. No interest amount for the security deposit will be paid to the candidates.
• Security Deposit will not be refunded to the candidates, as specified in clause 28 (b) (ii)
• The process of transfer of the security deposit to the candidates (as per clause (3)) will be initiated after completion of the counselling process and receipt of complete data needed for transfer.
• The Government reserves its right to amend the prospectus and make any modification in this prospectus during any phase of the counselling process and to implement/adhere to any modification instructed by the Honorable Court orders and DGHS/MCC from time to time
• Legal issues, if any, shall be under the Jurisdiction of the Hon’ble High Court of Madras
