The college is recognized by Govt. of India and the National Medical Commission (NMC) is affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal. The Medical College has an annual intake of 150 MBBS seat 121 seats in 19 Departments Post-Graduate studies and 3 seats among the 2 Super-Speciality studies. Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences is Conducting Counselling for all Government and Private Colleges in Telangana. The KNRUHS conduct the separate counselling for state Government Medical and State management quota seats. RESERVATION IN FAVOUR OF THE LOCAL CANDIDATES

Admission to 85% of the seats shall be reserved in favour of the local candidates in relation to the local area as provided in A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 for Non- State-Wide courses as given in Annexure-III of GO (P) No. 646, Edu. (W1) Department, dt.10-7-1979.

RESERVATIONS:

• 15%, 6%, 29% seats of Post Graduate Dental Degree MDS Courses are reserved for SC, ST and BC (BC-A-7%, BC-B-10%, BC-C-1%, BC- D-7% and BC-E4%) candidates respectively, which are called vertical reservations.
• 33 1/3% of seats shall be reserved for women and 5%seats shall be reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates respectively, which are horizontal reservations for Post Graduate Degree Courses.
