The Dr. Patnam Mahender Reddy Institute of Medical Sciences, Chevella, Rangareddy is a Society established in the Year 2019. The college is recognized by Govt. of India and the National Medical Commission (NMC) is affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal. The Medical College has an annual intake of 150 MBBS seats. Academic block with fully air-conditioned Lecture halls with excellent seating arrangements is available for teaching purposes with audiovisual aids including sound amplifying system, overhead projector, 35mm slide projector, LCD projector and microphone and provision for conversion into E-classes for teaching. Comfortable examination halls with 250 seating capacity and CCTV surveillance. A unique state of art Library cum Digital Information Centre spread over two thousand Square meters is located in the Academic Block. The library has ergonomically designed seating and lightings to provide comfort and privacy to the users. Common rooms for Boys and Girls are available with attached toilets. The PMRIMS has a 350 bedded state of art ultra-modern hospital providing general and specialist healthcare. It caters to the health care needs of the regions of Chevella, Rangareddy, Telangana. The services are provided free of cost to the needy, poor, and deserving patients. The Clinical departments are housed in Hospital block. Well-equipped central clinical lab with latest diagnostic equipment in Biochemistry, Pathology, and Microbiology which can support 1000 patients diagnosis in a day.

RESERVATION IN FAVOUR OF THE LOCAL CANDIDATES

Admission to 85% of the seats shall be reserved in favour of the local candidates in relation to the local area as provided in A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 for Non- State-Wide courses as given in Annexure-III of GO (P) No. 646, Edu. (W1) Department, dt.10-7-1979.

RESERVATIONS:

• 15%, 6%, 29% seats of Post Graduate Dental Degree MDS Courses are reserved for SC, ST and BC (BC-A-7%, BC-B-10%, BC-C-1%, BC- D-7% and BC-E4%) candidates respectively, which are called vertical reservations.
• 33 1/3% of seats shall be reserved for women and 5%seats shall be reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates respectively, which are horizontal reservations for Post Graduate Degree Courses.
