The Gouri Devi Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital,GIMSH Durgapur is run by a Society established in the Year 2016. The college is recognized by Govt. of India and the National Medical Commission (NMC) and is affiliated with the West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Kolkata, located in West Bengal with an annual intake of 150 MBBS seats.

Gouri Devi Institute of Medical Sciences is spread in a sprawling area of over 21+ acres with an excellent infrastructure. There are two lecture theaters in the academic building well equipped E-class facility along with LCD projectors, audio-visual system with air-conditioned facility.
