Sharad Pawar Dental College & Hospital  Established in 1991 and recognized by the Dental Council of India. Sharad Pawar Dental College & Hospital  is ranked 12 in dental category of NIRF- 2022 and Ranked No 19 in  NIRF- 2021 among 300+ private and public dental schools by the government of India.Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, a Deemed to be University is located in a 125 acre campus in Sawangi (Meghe), Wardha about 80 kms from Nagpur, Maharashtra. Institutes in Central India  is approved by National Accreditation Board for Hospitals (NABH).

Sharad Pawar Dental College & Hospital  equipped with over 350+ dental chairs .Every student has an uninterrupted working area yet closely monitored by the faculties across all the dental specialties in every clinic. State of art Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery unit is in place comprising of 20 bedded ward, dedicated intensive care unit and two modular operation theatres. It caters to myriad needs comprising of Head and neck cancer management, microvascular surgeries, orthognathic surgeries and congenital cleft deformity correction.

Oral cancer is rampant in this region owing to unrestrained consumption of tobacco related products amongst all ages.There is an active tumour board which has members from Oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Oral Radiologist ,Surgical Oncologist, Medical Oncologist, Radiation Oncologist, General Surgeon to a Psychologist. This helps the patient have the entire course of treatment in the same campus without having the chaos of moving to places for different treatment modalities

To make the advanced treatment procedures having high investment cost in the ambit of poor College is collaborated with government funding agencies like RBSK, MJPJAY and USA based Smile Train Project.

Every laboratory and every speciality owns advanced equipments. It ranges from CBCT machine, Carl Zeiss surgical microscope, Carl Zeiss Endodontic microscope, Lasers, FACCAD orthodontic planning software, Conscious sedation, Peizo electric surgical unit, CAD-CAM, BPS unit, 3D Printer, Digital smile designing software, Hard tissue microtome, frozen sectioning unit, linear accelerator, T-scan and so on.....

    Sharad Pawar Dental College & Hospital ,MDS (Master Degrees in Dental Sciences ) Counseling is conducted by MCC (Medical Counselling Committee)

    MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) COUNSELING PROCESS:-

    The MCC/DGHS conducts Counseling for allotment of Post Graduate (MD/MS/Diploma and MDS) seats to the NEETPG/MDS eligible and qualified candidates in participating Government Medical/Dental Colleges of the country under 50% All India Quota and 100% Central & Deemed University quota every year. All the candidates who have qualified for All India Quota seats on the basis of their rank in NEET PG /MDS conducted by NBE including candidates from Union Territory of J&K will be eligible. The role of MCC of DGHS is limited to allotment of seats to the participating candidates, as per their merit and choice, which starts only after receiving the list/data/Information of successful candidates from National Board of Examinations (NBE) i.e. the NEET (MDS) examination conducting body 

    Candidates who fall under the category of NRI as per the directions/ orders of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the case (W.P. No. 689/2017- Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Anr. Vs. Union of India &Ors.) dated 22-08- 2017 are eligible for NRI Category seats. OCI/PIO/Foreign Nationals will be eligible for only NRI seats .The eligible Indian National Candidates wanting to get converted to sponsored NRI category have to submit the  documents as and when the same are called for by the MCC.

    Step Wise Counseling Process conducted by MCC

                   There are four rounds of counselling i.e. Round 1, Round 2, Mop- Up Round & Stray Vacancy Round. Out of the four rounds for Deemed Universities, 03 rounds are conducted online by MCC i.e. Round 1, Round 2 and Mop-Up Round. The Stray Vacancy round is conducted physically by the Deemed Universities for which the list of registered & eligible Candidates is forwarded by MCC to the respective Deemed Universities. The allotment shall only be in terms of merit

    1. “Satisfied with the allotted seat and candidate is willing to report to the allotted college, not interested in further allotment of seats in any subsequent round for any discipline”.
    2. The candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat but wishes to participate in the next round. Such candidates should pay the prescribed fees
    3. The candidate is not satisfied with the present allotment and wishes to participate in the next round of counselling. The previously allotted seat is forfeited and offered to the next eligible candidate
    4. Not satisfied with MCC allotted seat and candidate has got seat elsewhere, so candidate is quitting and not to be considered for allotment of seats in any of the further rounds

    2nd Round :- (AIQ, Deemed University, Central University/Institutes, DNB)

    Fresh Registration for Mop-up Round (not required for earlier resigned candidates)

    • Notification for counseling process

    • Registration fee varies as per the Filling of application form for-AIQ, Deemed, CU, DU, Central Institutes, AFMS

    • There will be no choice filling in Stray Vacancy Round. The choices filled during Mop-Up round will be considered for allotment in Stray Vacancy Round.
    • Allotment of seats ‘Online’ by running software
    • Eligible candidates who are not holding any seat can participate in Stray Vacancy Round

    Stray vacancies:- (Deemed University)

    • Final Stray Vacancy Round to be conducted by Deemed/ Central Universities (There will be no Fresh Registration of Candidates in Final Stray Vacancy Round)
    • List of ten times (of the registered candidates) of number of Stray vacancies to be sent to Deemed / Central Universities to be exhausted strictly in order of merit.
    • For Deemed Universities the Stray Vacancy Round will be conducted by the respective Deemed University
    • Eligible candidates who are not holding any seat can participate in Stray Vacancy Round

    Above mentioned Annual Fees for General Category and NRI Category shall increase by 5 % every year.
    A Candidate will be required to submit an undertaking and refundable Security Deposit of Rs. 3.0 Lakhs against 1-year service condition at the time of admission. The details of the same shall be provided at the time of joining.
    Fees payable in USD will be as per prevailing USD to INR exchange rate at the time of fee payment.
