Shija Academy of Health Sciences (SAHS), Imphal, is a premier private medical institution in Manipur and the first homegrown private medical college in North-East India. Established in 2021 at HealthVillage, Langol, Imphal West, the college was founded by Shija Hospitals and Research Institute (SHRI) with the vision of transforming medical education and healthcare services in the region.Shija Academy of Health Sciences is affiliated with Manipur University and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The college received official approval from the NMC in November 2021 to begin the MBBS programme with an annual intake of 150 students. The institution follows the Competency-Based Medical Education curriculum prescribed by the NMC.

The hospital has also achieved a Guinness World Record for the successful removal of one of the world’s largest neck tumors.
