The Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhilai is a Society established in the Year 2016. The college is recognized by Govt. of India and the National Medical Commission (NMC) and affiliated with Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences and Ayush University, Raipur. The college is spread in an area of 40 acres.The college offers 150 seats in MBBS, Postgraduate Courses in 8 departments. The departments, classrooms, library, and laboratories are housed in airy, bright, and well-ventilated buildings. The college has an excellent central library facility. The College provides all kinds of sports activities and encourages students to take part in games and to ensure their all-round development. All facilities and playgrounds are available for Basket Ball, Volleyball, Foot Ball, Table Tennis, Cricket, Badminton, etc. Provides good quality accommodation for its students.
