The Shridevi Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Hospital, is located in Tumkur around 70km from Bangalore and was initiated in the year 2013. It is run by Sri. Shridevi Charitable Trust(R) Trust which runs many other constituent institutions since 1992. It is Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences- RGUHS, Karnataka and recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC). The college has been permitted to take an annual intake of 150 MBBS seats and 45 seats in 16 Departments of Post-Graduation studies It is well-connected by Road, Rail and Aerial routes.

• In 2022, the institutional mop-up round of counseling will fill the vacant seats or remain unfilled seats after a mop-up round of KEA counseling. This round is conducted by colleges to fill the left-over seats. A list of the registered candidates' names for stray vacancies will be sent to private colleges to be exhausted strictly in order of merit.
