Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Subharti Medical College is one of the oldest and most established private medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh. Located in Meerut, it was founded in 1996 and functions under Swami Vivekanand Subharti University. The college is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and is known for its large campus, extensive hospital setup and strong clinical exposure. The college is situated at Subharti Puram on the Delhi–Haridwar Bypass Road in Meerut. The campus spreads across nearly 250 acres and includes medical, dental, nursing and paramedical institutions within the university complex. Hostel facilities are available separately for boys and girls, along with sports grounds, libraries, laboratories, cafeteria and transport services.
The attached teaching hospital, Subharti Medical College, is considered one of the biggest private teaching hospitals in western Uttar Pradesh. Different sources report between 878 and 1,250 teaching beds, along with an average daily OPD of more than 1,600 patients. Because of this large patient load, Subharti is often considered one of the better private colleges in UP for clinical exposure and internship experience.
