Admission Process
KEA – Karnataka Examination Authority conducts counseling for Government Medical College (50% seats and another 50% will be conducted by MCC), 100% seat allotment in Private Universities and private Medical College ( includes Non-Minority, linguistic minority, and religious minority institutions), by KEA.
The candidates should have secured the following cut-off scores and above in NEET PG-2023

Mop Up Round:
- No Fresh Registration

- Caution deposit to KEA through online
- Option entry (whereas in 2022 it was offline counseling and in 2023 it was online counseling with a caution deposit of 3 lakhs for medical students and 2 lakhs for dental students to participate in the MOP-UP Round)

Stray vacancy round:
- Fresh registration was allowed for the candidates who hadn't registered in the subsequent rounds.

- In 2022, the institutional mop-up round of counseling will fill the vacant seats or remain unfilled seats after a mop-up round of KEA counseling. This round is conducted by colleges to fill the left-over seats. A list of the registered candidates' names for stray vacancies will be sent to private colleges to be exhausted strictly in order of merit.
