The Care Dental College, Guntur, is a Private College established in the year of 2017. The College is affiliated to the DR. N.T.R University of Health Sciences and recognized by Dental Council of India with the annual intake of 50 seats in BDS.

The Dental college is located in a constructed area of 59000 sq.ft and with an open area of 9000 sqft. The college provides good infrastructure to provide Dental Education to students with dedicated faculty around. Currently the college is equipped with 103 Dental chairs and has well maintained laboratory with all the latest equipment as well. There are spacious classrooms and seminar halls and an auditorium. The campus houses well ventilated spacious hostels for girls and boys separately. It is attached with the Government General Hospital for clinical practice.

Care Dental College DR NTRUHS conducts Counselling for all Government and Private Colleges In Andhra Pradesh (AP). The DR NTRUHS holds Separate counselling for State Government Medical and Dental seats and State management quota seats.

The counselling will be organized through an online mode in which candidates have to exercise their web options.

Eligibility:

  • The candidates who fulfil the following criteria are eligible for admission into Post Graduate Dental Degree / Diploma courses and they have to fulfil the Regulations as per NMC/DCI.
  • The candidates should secure the following cut-off scores in NEET PG-2022/ NEET MDS -2022 conducted by National Board of Examinations, New Delhi as per section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
  • Candidates should have BDS Degree recognized by the DCI.
  • Candidates should have completed Internship by -For MDS Courses : 31-07-2022
  • The Candidates from All over India are eligible for Management Quota Category – B (Sub Category-S1)
  • Foreign Students/NRI/NRI sponsored candidatesare eligible for Category – C (NRI Quota - Sub Category-S2)
  • Candidates sponsored by the Managements of Private Medical/Dental Colleges having Post Graduate Courses in Andhra Pradesh State are eligible for Category – C (Institutional Quota - Sub Category-S3) in the college which sponsored his/her candidature. The requirements for the Institutional Quota are:
  1. The candidates who have completed BDS in that particular Institution.
  2. Son or Daughter of the employee working in that particular Institution
  3. Employee of that particular Institution.
  4. The Employee should have a minimum of 6 months months experience in that particular Institution and presently working in the same Institution (Proof to be produced)
  • Candidate must have Permanent Registration with Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India or any State Medical Council/ Dental Council

FEE PARTICULARS FOR REGISTRATION & PROCESSING OF ONLINE APPLICATIONS

For candidates who have completed their MBBS Degree from Dr. NTR UHS, Vijayawada - Rs.7,080/- (Rupees Seven thousand and eighty only) (Registration fee Rs. 3,500/- + 18% GST and Processing fee Rs.2,500/- + 18% GST).

For candidates studied outside the AP/TS State and Abroad

a. The candidates who have acquired their MBBS Degree outside the AP/TS States shall pay Rs.10,620/- (Rupees Ten Thousand six hundred and twenty only) (Registration fee Rs.3,500/- + Processing fee Rs.2500/- + Equivalence fee Rs.3000/- and 18% GST)

b. The candidates who have acquired their MBBS Degree from Abroad/Foreign Countries shall pay Rs.15,340/- (Rupees Fifteen thousand three hundred and forty only) (Registration fee Rs.3,500/- + Processing fee Rs.2500/- + Equivalence fee Rs. 7000/- and 18% GST)

COUNSELLING PROCEDURES :

There are four rounds of counseling i.e., Round -1 Round -2, Mop- up and Stray vacancy round.(Stray Vacancy round will be conducted by the respective private Colleges from the merit list being furnished by the selection committee)

ADMISSIONS INTO POST GRADUATE MEDICAL & DENTAL MANAGEMENT COURSES UNDER COMPETENT AUTHORITY QUOTA/STATE QUOTA SEATS FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2022-23

RESERVATION IN FAVOUR OF THE LOCAL CANDIDATES

Admission to 85% of the seats shall be reserved in favour of the local candidates in relation to the local area as provided in A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 for Non- State-Wide courses as given in Annexure-III of GO (P) No. 646, Edu. (W1) Department, dt.10-7-1979.

STATE-WIDE COURSES: The courses at Govt. Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada are State-Widecourses and admission into these Courses shall be regulated as per the provisions in the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation ofAdmission) Order,1974 forState-Wide courses as given in Annexure-IV of GO (P) No. 646, Edu. (W1) Dept, dt.10-7-1979.

LOCAL AREA:

Andhra University, (Nagarjuna University

The part of the State comprising the Districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam shall be regarded as the local area for the purposes of admission to the Andhra University,(Nagarjuna University) and to any other Education Institution ( other than a State-wide University or State-wide Educational Institution) which is subject to the control of the State Government and is situated in that part

Osmania University, (the Kakatiya University)

The part of the State comprising the Districts of Telangana State shall be regarded as local area for the purposes of admission to the Osmania University, (the Kakatiya University) and to any other educational institution (other than a State-wide University or State-wide Educational Institution) which is subjectto the control of the State Government and is situated inthat part.

Sri Venkateswara University

The part of the State comprising the Districts of Ananthapur, Kadapa, Kurnool ,Chittoor and Nellore shall be regarded as local area for the purposes of admission to Sri Venkateswara University and to any other educational institution (other than a State-wide University or State-wide Educational Institution) which is subject to the control of the State Government and is situated in that part.

LOCAL CANDIDATES:A Candidate for admission shall be regarded as local candidate in relation to a local area.

If he / she studied in an Educational Institution or Educational Institutions in such local area for a period of not less than 4 consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he / she appeared or as the case may be first appeared in relevant qualifying examination.
Where during the whole or any part of the 4 consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he / she appeared or as the case may be first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination, he /she has not studied in Educational Institutions, if he / she had resided in that local area for a period of not less than 4 years immediately preceding the date of commencement of the relevant qualifying examination in which he/she appeared or as the case may be first appeared
For State Wide Colleges : A candidate who is not regarded as a local candidate under sub-regulation Above in relation to any local area shall

If he/she has studied in educational institutions in the State for a period of not less than 7 consecutive academic years ending with academic year in which he / she appeared or as the case may be first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination be regarded as local candidate in relation to:

  1. Such local area where he/she has studied for the maximum period out of the said period of 7 years.
  2. Where the period of his/her study in two or more local areas are equal, such local area where he/she has last studied in such equal periods

If during the whole or any part of the seven consecutive academic years ending with academic year in which he/she appeared or as the case may be first appeared for relevant qualifying examination, he / she has not studied in the educational institution in any local area, but he / she has resided in the State during the whole of the said period of 7 years be regarded as a local candidate in relation to

  1. Such local area where he/she has resided for the maximum period out of the said period of 7 years. (or)
  2. Where the period of his/her residence in two or more local areas are equal, such local area where he/she has resided last in such equal periods.

RESERVATIONS:

Seats of Post Graduate Degree and Diploma Courses are reserved for SC, ST and BC and BC sub groups as detailed below, which are called vertical reservations.

  • SC Category– 15%
  • ST Category– 06%
  • BC Category – 29% (BC-A-7%, BC-B-10%, BC-C-1%,BC-D-7% & BC-E-4%).

Candidates claiming reservations under SC/ST/BC categories shall submit a permanent social status certificate issued by Government of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana. The social status of SC / ST / BC candidates shall be subject to the scrutiny as per G.O.Ms.No.58 SW (J) Dept. Dt 12-5-97.

Seats of Post Graduate Degree and Diploma Courses as per NMC, New Delhi guidelines shall be reserved for women and differently abled candidates, which are horizontal reservations as detailed below.

  1. Women reservation - 33 1/3%
  2. Physically Challenged - 5%

RESERVATIONS FOR ECONOMICALLY WEAKER SECTIONS (EWS):

The reservation of 10% in favour of Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) in admissions will be implemented only if seats are sanctioned for EWS Quota by Govt. of India/National Medical Council for the academic year 2022-23.
