The Chattisgarh Dental College & Research Institute, Rajnandgaon, is a Private College, Established in the year of 2001. The College is affiliated to Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences and and recognized by Dental Council of India and Govt of India with the annual intake of 100 seats in BDS and 29 seats in various streams of Postgraduate Dental Sciences. Crowned with the glory of being the first dental college of the state. Chhattisgarh Dental College & Research Institute is run by Youth Foundation of India which is a social body of young enthusiasts from various fields dedicated towards the educational development In the state.

The Dental college is located in a constructed area of 110500 sq.ft and with an open area of 119496 sqft. There are technology driven air conditioned classrooms and seminar halls located in a triple storied building consists of all the non clinical departments and lecture halls. library has area of 7000 sq.ft including separate reading room and has over 3500 books covering all subjects in dentistry as well as medical subjects. There are about 25 internationally acclaimed dental journals and 18 national journals. There is an centrally air conditioned Auditorium. State of art preclinical labs equipped with patient simulations and Wi Fi enabled campus. There is a Dental education museum within the campus. Separate Hostel for boys and girls are available with a capacity of 200 and 400 intakes respectively. The accommodation is well furnished with bed, mattress, wardrobe, table and chair etc.

Currently the college is equipped with 279 latest electronic Dental chairs and has set up a well maintained laboratory with all the latest equipment as well. It is the first full-fledged, Ultra Modern Dental Hospital. It consists of 9 Departments viz. Oral Diagnosis & Radiology, Oral Surgery, Prosthodontics, Pedodontics, Conservative, Orthodontics, Community Dentistry, Periodontics & Oral Pathology & Microbiology. Departments are fully equipped with indigenous as well as imported Dental Chairs, X-Ray machine & OPG, RVG machine etc. It is attached with the Govt. Medical College, Rajnandgaon for clinical practice. It also has its own dental labs equipped with latest ceramic furnace and induction casting machine
