Father Mullers Medical College

The Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore, has a remarkable name in the field of Medical education which was established in the year 1989. It is a unit of Fr. Muller's Charitable Institutions, a registered society sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Mangalore to benefit the Christian community. It is a Religious Minority Institution affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences - RGUHS and is the first institution under RGUHS to grab the NAAC-'A' grade Accreditation and also holds NABCL accreditation. The Undergraduate and Post-Graduate Degrees are awarded by RGUHS, Government of Karnataka and is recognized and approved by National Medical Commission (NMC), Government of India. Just like any other Educational Institution under Catholic auspices, it is open to all persons irrespective of religion, caste, creed, or community.

The college is situated in the land of Seashores, Mangaluru previously, Mangalore just a Kilometer from the NH-66 (Mumbai-Mangalore). The college has an annual intake of 150 seats in MBBS and offers seats in 101 seats 18 specialties of PG courses and 5 seats in 3 streams in the Super-Speciality Course. It is well connected with Land, Air, and Sea routes. The college has an enriched facility of modern well-aerated classrooms, a Huge campus of over 40acres, Separate Laboratories, A four-storeyed complex of Central Library with Undergraduate and Postgraduate sections, Reading halls, E-Library and neoteric Conference Halls. There are around 4 Hostels for Boys and 6 for Girls all equipped with facilities for a calmful and happy stay to enrich body and mind. • In 2022, the institutional mop-up round of counseling will fill the vacant seats or remain unfilled seats after a mop-up round of KEA counseling. This round is conducted by colleges to fill the left-over seats. A list of the registered candidates' names for stray vacancies will be sent to private colleges to be exhausted strictly in order of merit.
