GMERS Medical College Dharpur-Patan

The GMERS Medical College, Dharpur Patan is an academic institution of repute under the Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society Formed by the Dept. of Health of Family Welfare Govt. of Gujarat. It is a self financed institution managed by the Government of Gujarat which was established in the year 2012. The college is Affiliated to the prestigious university of Gujarat, Hemchandrachary North Gujarat University, Patan and recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC) with an annual intake of 200 MBBS seats.

The GMERS Medical College and Hospital complex is Unitary, spread over 62 acres of land and has several blocks of buildings. The Medical college has 4 blocks with Pre- and Paraclinical departments. There are 5 A/C lecture theatres in medical College and one in the hospital. All pre-, para- and clinical departments have demonstration rooms. There are separate common rooms for girls and boys. The Institute is fully equipped with clinical Laboratories, Departmental Museums and Auditorium. The Library is in a 3 storied building, totally air-conditioned and there is separate A/C outer reading room for 150 students. The residential facilities for teaching, non teaching and nursing staff are present in the campus itself. There are separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. There are facilities for Indoor and Outdoor Games and Sports with volleyball and badminton facilities.

It is attached to a 650 bedded tertiary care hospital with 24X7 emergency and trauma care facility, Eye bank and blood bank facilities are available. There are very good clinical and diagnostic facilities in the Hospital. The Hospital has facilities for burn treatment, Critical care services, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy. The Hospital's general specialities include General Medicine, General Surgery, OBG, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Radiodiagnosis, ENT, Ophthalmology, Anaesthesiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Biochemistry & Forensic Medicine.

Procedure for Selection and Admission to Medical Postgraduate Courses (MD/MS/Diploma) at GUJARAT State Government and Private Medical Colleges.

Admission Committee for Professional Postgraduate Medical Courses (ACPPGMEC) conducts Online Combined Centralized Counselling for all GUJARAT State Government and Private Medical Colleges. In order to participate in the admission process, it is necessary to fill Admission Committee for Professional Postgraduate Medical Courses (ACPPGMEC) MBBS PG Admission Counseling medical application form in the online mode. Candidates who have qualified NEET- PG is eligible for the GUJARAT PG medical admission to the state quota as well as All India Quota seats. ACPPGMEC offers PG medical admission for the 50% seats available in the GUJARAT State Government and 100% Unaided Private Medical Colleges.

b. Management Seats (MQ): 10% seats of total sanctioned seats

c. NRI Seats (NQ): 15% seats of total sanctioned seats

Mop-Up Round

All the candidates who are included in the Merit-list of ACPPGMEC as well as who applied and became eligible for MD/MS/Diploma courses after revised/reduced NEET PG -2020 cut-off can participate in 3rd Online Round, except the candidates, who have secured and joined admission in 50% AIQ/ Deemed/ Central Universities/AFMC (MD/ MS/ Diploma and DNB seats or seats of other state) counseling.

To participate in the mop-up round, the candidates have to log-in in the website http://medadmgujarat.org/pg/home.aspx using their User-ID and Password to give ONLINE CONSENT

If admission of candidate is upgraded to new seat, candidate has to take print of allotment order of 3rd Online Round and report to nearby help center to get new admission order. In case, candidate doesn’t report to help center within stipulated time, new allotted admission will get cancelled. Hence in this scenario, candidate does not have admission on any seat.
