The Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences, Narketpally is a Trust established in the Year 1999. The college is recognized by Govt. of India and the National Medical Council (NMC) is affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal. The Medical College has an annual intake of 200 MBBS seats, 94 seats in 22 Departments Post-Graduate studies, and 1 seat among the 1 Super-Speciality studies. The KIMS Campus is located at Sreepuram, Narketpally, Nalgonda Dist. on the 89th KM from Hyderabad and 190th KM from Vijayawada on the National Highway-9. The magnificence of the Institute and Hospital buildings compliment the 30-acre landscape in which they are built. Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences is Conducting Counselling for all Government and Private Colleges in Telangana. The KNRUHS conduct the separate counselling for state Government Medical and State management quota seats. The counselling will be organized through online mode in which candidates have to exercise their web options.

RESERVATION IN FAVOUR OF THE LOCAL CANDIDATES

Admission to 85% of the seats shall be reserved in favour of the local candidates in relation to the local area as provided in A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 for Non- State-Wide courses as given in Annexure-III of GO (P) No. 646, Edu. (W1) Department, dt.10-7-1979.

RESERVATIONS:

• 15%, 6%, 29% seats of Post Graduate Dental Degree MDS Courses are reserved for SC, ST and BC (BC-A-7%, BC-B-10%, BC-C-1%, BC- D-7% and BC-E4%) candidates respectively, which are called vertical reservations.
• 33 1/3% of seats shall be reserved for women and 5%seats shall be reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates respectively, which are horizontal reservations for Post Graduate Degree Courses.
