The Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College LLRM Medical College, Meerut, is a Government College established in the Year 1966. The College is affiliated to Ch. Charan Singh Universitiy, Meerut, located in Uttar Pradesh and recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC). It has an annual intake of 100 MBBS seats, 69 seats in 20 disciplines of Post-Graduate studies and 1 seat in 1 stream of Super-Specialization studies. It is well-connected by Road and Rail route. The Government of India has decided to upgrade the institute along the lines of All India Institute of Medical Sciences as part of phase 3 of Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), whereby the Central Government will bear 80% of the cost of upgrading and 20% of the cost will be borne by State Government.
The Medical College campus and the Teaching Hospital are located in a sprawling over an area of 150.49 acres with state of the art infrastructure which houses the main buildings of Medical College, Hospital, Dedicated COVID-19 Hospital, Residential hostels for students and residential quarters for different categories of staff. There are five lecture theatres for teaching all disciplines, three of them are in academic block on ground, first & second floors, one lecture theatre is in pharmacy department & fifth one is in front of Pharmacy department. Each lecture theatre has a seating capacity of about 150 students and equipped with latest audiovisual aid. There are spacious Examination halls, separate common rooms for Boys and Girls & Demonstration rooms. The Institute is fully equipped with clinical Laboratories, Museums and Auditorium. Library and information center is located in a huge area with good collection of Medical Books, Indian & Foreign Journals with separate reading space for students & Teaching Staff and a Digital Library. There are facilities for Indoor and Outdoor Games and Sports. Separate Hostel facilities for Boys and Girls.
The Teaching Hospital
It is associated with the Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Hospital which is a 1040 bedded tertiary care hospital which has OPD in all clinical specialities & super-specialities in Endocrinology, Cardiology, and Neurosurgery. It is fully equipped with modern diagnostic facilities in Pathology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Radiology department. Besides the Radiology department, Radio diagnosis department is aided by a private centre NMC, established by NGO where the facilities of CAT Scan & MRI Scanning are also available for patient care & training of post graduate students. The Ophthalmology department is an upgraded department in this hospital with facility of Eye Bank, LASER, Retina clinic, Glaucoma clinic, Paediatric Ophthalmology and low vision aid clinic. The hospital also has an Emergency ward with best of equipments & facilities to deal with any emergency situation round the clock.
The Hospital also has four story modern operation theatre block which has 14 operation theatres with central supply of Gas & Oxygen. The construction of major lecture theatre is in full swing and will be ready shortly. The construction of new computerized record section is complete and is functioning. A new modern emergency with modular Operation Theatres, new computerised record section, new Ophthalmic wing as centre of excellence, new gymnasium, a modern neurosciences super speciality along with TELEMEDICINE have been added.

Eligibility Condition:
For Delhi University Quota (MAIDS): The candidate must have passed the final M.B.B.S. examination (for MD/MS/Diploma Course) and BDS examination (for MDS Course) from the University of Delhi and must have completed a satisfactory one-year compulsory rotating internship and must submit their internship completion certificate at the time of admission. For the Reservation Policy of 50% Internals seats of AMU, there is no reservation
AMU Internal seats (ZADC, Aligarh) : An Institutional (Internal) candidate has passed the qualifying examination (MBBS/BDS as applicable) from AMU and completes his/her internship as per the dates specified by AMU authorities.
BHU Internal seat (IDS, BHU): Only those Candidates who have passed MBBS/BDS from the Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU as per the internship dates specified by IMS, BHU will be eligible, provided the Candidates have appeared and qualified in the NEET-PG / MDS Examination.
Central Institutes: The Candidates should have completed their MBBS/BDS from I.P. University (VMMC & SJH; ABVIMS & RML; Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College & Hospital, New Delhi; Army College of Medical Sciences, Delhi; North Delhi Municipal Corporation(Medical College) Hindu Rao Hospital) are eligible for Internal seats of 50% in Central Institutes (VMMC & SJH, ABVIMS & RML, ESIC-Basaidarapur)
The counseling process for admission into various programs will encompass four distinct rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the Stray and Special Stray Vacancy Round. In accordance with the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India's directives, as per the orders dated 12.12.2022 and 16.12.2021 in the case of "SLA (C) No. 10487 of 2021 in the matter of Nihila P.P. v/s MCC & Ors.," all four rounds will be conducted online by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC). This approach ensures a transparent and accessible counseling process for all candidates.
Following the Supreme Court's approval, no seats will revert to the participating states after Round 2, marking a significant change in the counseling process. The Mop-up Round will now be recognized as Round 3 from the 2023-24 session onwards. The candidate is now allowed to upgrade seat from second round to 3 rd (mop up) round.It is crucial for candidates to make informed decisions regarding their participation in Round 3 of MCC counseling, as withdrawal from this round will not be permitted. Additionally, candidates accepting a seat in Round 3 will be ineligible for any further counseling rounds.
To facilitate a seamless transition between rounds and ensure optimal seat allocation, data will be shared between the Centre and the States. Any candidate listed in the allotments will be excluded from the All India Stray Vacancy Round to maintain the integrity of the counseling process.
For seats designated as JAIN MINORITY/MUSLIM MINORITY/NRI, any vacancies remaining after Round 3 will convert to UR MANAGEMENT Private Deemed University seats. This conversion only occurs after all eligible candidates for JAIN MINORITY/MUSLIM MINORITY/ NRI seats have been considered, ensuring no seat goes unfilled and maximizing educational opportunities for all students.

Guidelines for NRI Seat Allocation during MCC Counseling
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has established specific criteria for Non-Resident Indian (NRI) seat allocation as per the directives issued by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. According to the verdict in W.P. No. 689/2017 - Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Anr. vs. Union of India & Ors. on August 22, 2017, candidates qualifying as NRIs are eligible for NRI category seats. This eligibility extends to Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), and Foreign Nationals, who may only apply for NRI-designated seats.
Indian Nationals seeking to be reclassified to the sponsored NRI category must adhere to the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC)'s requirements, including the timely submission of necessary documents upon request. Candidates are encouraged to stay informed on the process through official Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) communications to ensure compliance and secure their eligibility for NRI seat consideration during the counseling sessions.

7. OBC candidates covered by the provisions of the creamy layer will not be entitled for the benefits of OBC category |
8. Candidates who fail to produce required original documents at the time of admission or if any, concealment or falsification of facts comes into the light at the time of admission and thereafter during the course of study will not be entitled to any benefit of having appeared in the entrance examination and/ or any benefit or acquiring a seat subsequently. Legal action would be taken against such candidates. " |
9. Candidates will be checked for their identity at the time of admission. If it does not match it will be counted as unfair means and their candidature will be cancelled. Additional legal action would be taken against such candidates. |
10. If candidate does not participate in online counseling or does not take admission to the allotted seat by the due date he/she shall forfeit any right of admission on the basis of said counseling/allotment. |
11. The option once exercised by the candidate in the online counseling cannot be altered under any circumstances. |
12. No request for re-allotment of seals already allotted in the first and second round will be entertained. |
If seats are left un-allotted at the end of the second round of online counseling, then a “mop up” round of allotment will be organized at a notified date, after due publicity. The purpose of the mop up round of seat allotment will be to ensure that there is no loss of PG seats in the current academic year. Seats will be offered to eligible candidates strictly according to their position in the NEET PG- 2023 State Rank/All India Rank

Admission of the candidate to various PG courses will be given by the Principal / Dean / Director/ Nodal center of the respective Medical Colleges/ Institutes/Universities as mentioned in allotment letter.
