AECS Maaruti College Of Dental Sciences and Research Centre was started in 1992 by Amrith Educational And Cultural Society, Bangalore under the able guidance and stewardship of its Chairperson, Smt. V.Geetha Devi, who is a qualified educationist with a passion for education and Sri. R. Venkatesh, Secretary-cum-Treasurer of the Society, who carries with him vast experience of starting various professional courses in rural areas of Kolar district.

AECS Maaruti College of Dental Sciences & Research Centre aims at a healthy integration of both Eastern and Western dental health sciences to enable humankind to live a full span of their lives provided by God in perfect health.

KEA – Karnataka Examination Authority conducts counseling for Government Medical College (50% seats and another 50% will be conducted by MCC), 100% seat allotment in Private Universities and private Medical College ( includes Non-Minority, linguistic minority, and religious minority institutions), by KEA.

First Round:-

Second Round:-

• Fresh registration was allowed due to lowering the qualifying Percentile including in-service candidates, up to zero Percentile.

“NOTE: People who got allotted in 1st & 2nd Round are not allowed to participate in the mop-up round."

Mop Up Round:

• No Fresh Registration
• Deposit of documents, Document verification
• Caution deposit to KEA through online
• Option entry (whereas in 2022 it was offline counseling and in 2023 it was online counseling with a caution deposit of 3 lakhs for medical students and 2 lakhs for dental students to participate in the MOP-UP Round)
• Allotment & cut-off of the mop-up round

Stray vacancy round:

• Fresh registration was allowed for the candidates who hadn't registered in the subsequent rounds.

• In 2022, the institutional mop-up round of counseling will fill the vacant seats or remain unfilled seats after a mop-up round of KEA counseling. This round is conducted by colleges to fill the left-over seats. A list of the registered candidates' names for stray vacancies will be sent to private colleges to be exhausted strictly in order of merit.
