The S V S Medical College, Mehboobnagar is a Trust established in the Year 1999. The college is recognized by Govt. of India and the National Medical Commission (NMC) is affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal. The Medical College has an annual intake of 150 MBBS seats, 119 seats in 16 Departments Post-Graduate studies.SVSMCH is fully equipped with Spacious Lecture Halls with an audiovisual system attached to Demo rooms. There are 3 lecture halls (one with 350 capacity and two with 250 capacity )gallery type in college and two lecture halls 20 capacity gallery type in hospital with equipped with all modern teaching audio-visual aids including Interactive boards, besides an Auditorium hall with a seating capacity of 100 candidates. Two Demonstration rooms for each of the pre and para-clinical departments in the college with 90-100 students capacity are provided. There are two common rooms for MBBS students, one for male students and another for female students with an attached Toilet. RESERVATION IN FAVOUR OF THE LOCAL CANDIDATES

Admission to 85% of the seats shall be reserved in favour of the local candidates in relation to the local area as provided in A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 for Non- State-Wide courses as given in Annexure-III of GO (P) No. 646, Edu. (W1) Department, dt.10-7-1979.

RESERVATIONS:

• 15%, 6%, 29% seats of Post Graduate Dental Degree MDS Courses are reserved for SC, ST and BC (BC-A-7%, BC-B-10%, BC-C-1%, BC- D-7% and BC-E4%) candidates respectively, which are called vertical reservations.
• 33 1/3% of seats shall be reserved for women and 5%seats shall be reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates respectively, which are horizontal reservations for Post Graduate Degree Courses.
