The Teerthanker Mahaveer Medical College, Moradabad, was established in the Year 2008. The College is affiliated to Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, located in Uttar Pradesh and recognized byNational Medical Commission (NMC), India. The Medical College has an annual intake of 150 MBBS seats and 126 seats in 20 disciplines of Post-Graduate studies.

The campus Spreads over lush Green area of 28 acres which houses main medical college building which occupies a 6 storied building with a built up area of 20317.73 sq.mt, teaching hospital with a built up area of 65436.00 sq.mt, Hostel and Residential complex with a built up area of 23945.00 sq.mt. with Playground and offer Supportive facilities. The campus has the uniqueness of many state-of-the-art buildings, sprawling lawns, well maintained playgrounds along with supporting facilities. It has been planned, designed and constructed to address broader issues that relate to resource and energy conservation.

There are very good spacious gallery type Lecture halls in the college with a seating capacity of 200 in 4 lecture halls and 1 with a seating capacity of 300 and there is 1 gallery type lecture hall in the hospital which accommodates 200 students. There are Examination halls, Common rooms for Boys and Girls & Demonstration rooms. The Institute is fully equipped with clinical Laboratories, Departmental Museums and Auditorium. Library and information center is located in a huge area of 2520sqmt with good collection of Medical Books, Indian & Foreign Journals with separate reading space for students & Teaching Staff and a Digital Library. There are facilities for Indoor and Outdoor Games and Sports with volleyball, Cricket, Football, Athletics, Lawn Tennis, Basket ball and badminton facilities with Gymnasium.

Teerthanker Mahaveer Medical College Hospital is a 1000 bedded tertiary care hospital. It houses the various clinical and para-clinical departments like Medicine, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Pulmonary Medicine, Paediatrics, General Surgery, Eye, ENT, Orthopedics, Gynae & Obs, Radiology and Anaesthesia. It also has a well-developed Blood Bank and a Central lab for Pathology, Microbiology and Bio-Chemistry. The diagnostic facilities like MRI, Spiral CT and Color Doppler are also available in the hospital.

Over the period, Teerthanker Mahaveer Medical college Hospital has established a coronary care unit with Echocardiography, Holter, TMT, Image Intensifier and facilities for regular Angiography, Angioplasty, By-pass surgery & implantation of temporary and permanent pacemakers. The emergency wing is well equipped with modern facilities to provide the emergency and trauma care services round the clock on all the days. There are 5 beds in Triage area and 35 beds in emergency ward. One emergency OT and one minor OT is located in emergency wing. The services include accident, trauma, medical and surgical emergencies, paediatrics and Gynaecological emergencies. The hospital has 12 well equipped modular operation theaters for General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Obs, and Gynae and for Super specialties like Plastic Surgery, Neurosurgery, and Paediatric surgery besides one for emergency services in the casualty section. Beside this there are three minor OTs. State of the art Intensive Care Units are available with 10 ICCU, 15 MICU/ICU, 10 SICU, 5 RICU, 5 Burn ICU, 10 & 5 Paediatrics and Intentensive Care area, 5 OBG ICU and 5 Labour rooms. There is one licensed Blood Bank in Teerthanker Mahaveer Medical College Hospital. The Blood Bank is well equipped and has facilities to prepare the blood components. It caters to the need of all the medical and surgical specialties and superspecialties of the medical college Hospital.

(MOP-UP)Third Round :-

If seats are left un-allotted at the end of the second round of online counseling, then a “mop up” round of allotment will be organized at a notified date, after due publicity. The purpose of the mop up round of seat allotment will be to ensure that there is no loss of PG seats in the current academic year. Seats will be offered to eligible candidates strictly according to their position in the NEET PG- 2023 State Rank/All India Rank.

The eligibility for mop up round:-

• Separate registration with Rs.2000/- is mandatory for top-Up round and only these candidates will be included in the mop-up merit list.
• Candidates who are admitted/allotted but not joined/resigned any seat in UP will not be eligible for participation.
• Any candidate who has taken admission in any PG course in any Medical /Dental College in India also will not be eligible for MOP-UP.
• Candidates will have to produce certificates in original as well as one self attested photocopies of all the documents.

ADMISSION PROCESS:

Admission of the candidate to various PG courses will be given by the Principal / Dean / Director/ Nodal center of the respective Medical Colleges/ Institutes/Universities as mentioned in allotment letter.

Government College:

1. A candidate who has been allotted a seat in a particular Government Medical/Dental College. 'Institute/University shall have to complete all admission formalities including fees deposition, by the notified date at the College/ Institute / University as the case may be.
2. Those who fail to do so will lose their claim for admission.
3. Bond on Rs.100/- stamp paper will be made to the effect that incase student leaves the seat after the 2nd counseling. or at any time during the course of study, then the candidate will deposit an amount of Rs.5,00,000/- (Five lakhs) as a penalty.

Private College:

1. Dental : A candidate who has been allotted a seat in a particular Private Dental College/Institute/University shall have to complete all the admission formalities including depositing the prescribed fees, by the date notified at the nodal center.
2. Those who fail to do so will lose their claim for admission.
3. Bond on Rs.100/- stamp paper will be made to the effect that in-case after admission:

a. Candidate leaving the seat at least Two days before Mop up round then his security deposit and 50% of tuition the deposit at admission will be forfeited.

b .Candidate leaving the seat after the mop up counseling or at any time before completion of the course, then his security deposit will be forfeited and he/ she will also deposit total amount of tuition tee of the entire course.

Following documents in Original and one set self at tested photo copy will be deposited for admission:

1. High School Certificate as proof of date of birth.
2. Mark sheets of all professional examinations.
3. MBBS/BDS passing out certificate or degree.
4. Compulsory Rotatory 1nternship completion certificate.
5. Permanent Registration Certificate (U.P. State/MCI/DCC)
6. Employers relieving certificate, if employed.
7. S.C./S.T./O.B.C./EWS/Physically handicapped certificate, if applicable. Copy of Allotment letter (as downloaded) Admit Card of NEET PG 2023-24.

AII original document will remain deposited at the admission center.
