The Bhaskar Medical College, Yenkapally established in the Year 2005 and is run by J.B. Group of Educational Societies The College is affiliated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal located in Telangana and recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC) with an annual intake of 150 MBBS seats and 68 seats in 15 disciplines of Postgraduate studies.

The Medical College and Hospital along with other Educational institutions is located in a sprawling campus of over 106 acres with an excellent infrastructure. There are facilities for Indoor and Outdoor Games and Sports with Courts for Basket Ball, Volley ball, Tennicoit ,Throw Ball, Badminton along with Cricket ground and playfield for foot Ball, The students are thoroughly encouraged in atheletics by providing 200m non-stranded track and areas for Shot put, High jump, javeline, disc throw. A well equipped indoor game area for Table tennis, caroms, chess is available Gym with separate timings for Boys & Girls in the campus ensures health and recreation. in addition, Open-Air Theatre, Post Office and Banking are also available within the campus.

Bhaskar General Hospital(BGH) is a 820 bedded tertiary care Multi-speciality hospital. 24X7 emergency and trauma care facility, Eye bank and blood bank facilities are available. There are very good clinical and diagnostic facilities in the Hospital. There are huge number of OPD's and In-Patient flow everyday. There are well equipped Operation Theatres and exclusive ICU, SICU, RICU, NICU, PICU, ICCU with central monitoring system to treat critical patients. The Hospital has facilities for burn treatment, Critical care services, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy. Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences is Conducting Counselling for all Government and Private Colleges in Telangana. The KNRUHS conduct the separate counselling for state Government Medical and State management quota seats. RESERVATION IN FAVOUR OF THE LOCAL CANDIDATES

Admission to 85% of the seats shall be reserved in favour of the local candidates in relation to the local area as provided in A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 for Non- State-Wide courses as given in Annexure-III of GO (P) No. 646, Edu. (W1) Department, dt.10-7-1979.

RESERVATIONS:

• 15%, 6%, 29% seats of Post Graduate Dental Degree MDS Courses are reserved for SC, ST and BC (BC-A-7%, BC-B-10%, BC-C-1%, BC- D-7% and BC-E4%) candidates respectively, which are called vertical reservations.
• 33 1/3% of seats shall be reserved for women and 5%seats shall be reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates respectively, which are horizontal reservations for Post Graduate Degree Courses.
