N.T.R University of Health Sciences and recognized by the Dental Council of India with an annual intake of 100 seats in BDS and 44 seats in various streams of Postgraduate Dental Sciences. It is located in a constructed area of 167000 sq.ft and with an open area of 20000 sqft. There are technology driven air conditioned classrooms and seminar halls. There is an centrally air conditioned Auditorium with a seating capacity of 1000. State of art preclinical labs equipped with patient simulations and Wi Fi enabled campus. There is a Dental education museum within the campus. The campus houses well ventilated spacious hostels for girls and boys separately where there are 5 boys hostel and 3 girls hostel with a total capacity of 540. The library is spread over an area of more than 10,000 sft with separate UG&PG reading areas, staff reading area, journal section, xerox facility, and E-Library facilty. The library has a vast collection of books and numerous National and International titles from renowned publishers worldwide. There is separate reading section, and issue section. The Journal section is well stalked with latest journals for the benefit of the students and staff. The E Library facility is provided by Dr.NTRUHS through the Mednet Consortium to which the college is subscribed. It is attached with Medical college, The SVRR Government General Hospital for Dental practice. The clinical training is given to the students with a vision so that they are well versed with all the basic and advanced armamentarium, diagnosis and treatment protocol. The OPD is fully functional with state of the art equipment's for diagnosis & treatment.

RESERVATION IN FAVOUR OF THE LOCAL CANDIDATES
Admission to 85% of the seats shall be reserved in favor of the local candidates in relation to the local area as provided in A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 for Non-State-Wide courses as given in Annexure-III of GO (P) No. 646, Edu. (W1) Department, dt.10-7-1979.
