The Deccan College of Medical Sciences(DCMS), Hyderabad a Trust established in Year 1985. It’s among the best 5 medical institutes in Telangana. The college is recognized by Govt. of India and the National Medical Commission (NMC)is affiliated with Deccan College of Medical Sciences Warangal. The Medical College has an annual intake of 150 MBBS seats, 67 seats in 20 Departments Post-Graduate studies, and 4 seats among the 4 Super-Speciality studies. Six Primary Health Centres are run by Deccan College of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad with the twin purpose of providing medicare to urban poor and needy patients and imparting training to students as part of the MBBS curriculum. RESERVATION IN FAVOUR OF THE LOCAL CANDIDATES

Admission to 85% of the seats shall be reserved in favour of the local candidates in relation to the local area as provided in A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 for Non- State-Wide courses as given in Annexure-III of GO (P) No. 646, Edu. (W1) Department, dt.10-7-1979.

RESERVATIONS:

• 15%, 6%, 29% seats of Post Graduate Dental Degree MDS Courses are reserved for SC, ST and BC (BC-A-7%, BC-B-10%, BC-C-1%, BC- D-7% and BC-E4%) candidates respectively, which are called vertical reservations.
• 33 1/3% of seats shall be reserved for women and 5%seats shall be reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates respectively, which are horizontal reservations for Post Graduate Degree Courses.
