Dr. N. D. Desai Faculty of Medical Science and Research runs as a Private University under the Dharmsinh Desai University of Nadiad (DDU). The Medical college was established in the year 2019 and is affiliated to Dharmsinh Desai University of Nadiad (DDU) and recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC), India with an annual intake of 150 MBBS seats.

The Medical college is located in a sprawling area of over 20 acres with state of the art infrastructure. There are very good spacious Lecture halls, Examination halls & Demonstration rooms. The Institute is fully equipped with clinical Laboratories, Departmental Museums, Skill labs and Auditorium. Library and information center is located in a huge area with good collection of Medical Books, Indian & Foreign Journals with separate reading space for students & Teaching Staff and a Digital Library. Desai Hospital, a 350 bedded multispecialty hospital that is providing free health care to the people not just of Kheda District but also of the surrounding under-served areas. It is a tertiary care hospital with 24X7 emergency and trauma care facility, Eye bank and blood bank facilities are available. There are very good clinical and diagnostic facilities in the Hospital. The Hospital has facilities for burn treatment, Critical care services, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy.
