Panineeya Institute of Dental Sciences & Research Centre hospital, Hyderabad was established in 2003. College is affiliated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS). The institution is recognized by the Dental Council of India and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. The college is located in the heart of Hyderabad in a sprawling 5.3 acres.
The college campus is self contained with Dental Hospital, library, seminar halls, a separate Examination hall, well equipped laboratories, class rooms with audio – visual equipments, personality development lab and etc. in a built up area of 1,35,000 sft and separate hostels for boys and girls, sports room, play ground, open auditorium, museum, cafeteria, staff quarters .

Hospital with a daily OPD of 600 patients, which is steadily increasing and is fully equipped with sophisticated equipment and over 300 dental chairs .Every student has an uninterrupted working area yet closely monitored by the faculties across all the dental specialties in every clinic. It has well equipped state-of-the-art library, modern clinical departments and pre-clinical and clinical laboratories.
Department is well equipped with state of art equipment and instruments like surgical operating microscopes, Root ZX apex locator, Bleaching unit, confident dental chairs advanced irrigating systems ,conventional and digital radiographic machines like IOPA machine, RVG and digital OPG Vacuum Molding Unit, ArchiMate, Electropolishing device, Hydrosolder, Light curing Units, Welders etc.
The institute is attached to one of the premier hospitals of the state i.e., Gandhi Medical College & Hospital, which is in close vicinity institution, for training students in the areas of General Medicine, Surgery & allied subjects.

Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences is Conducting NEETMDS Counselling for all Government and Private dental colleges in Telangana. The KNRUHS conducts separate NEETMDS counseling for state Government Medical and State management quota seats. Verification /equivalency fee for candidates studied outside the state and abroad:The candidates who acquired their Under Graduate Degree outside the State or Country/Abroad and got their certificates registered with Medical Council of India and applying for admission into Post Graduate Medical Degree/Diploma/MDS courses under this University, shall pay a verification fee of Rs.7,000/- for Degree certificates acquired Abroad and Rs.3,000/- for the Degrees acquired outside the state.

The candidates who have qualified in NEET MDS - 2023-24 examination with the following cutoff scores and above as per Notice dated 27.05.2022 issued by National Board of Examinations ,New Delhi are eligible to apply
ELIGIBILITY:
| Candidate should have qualified in NEET MDS - 2023-24 by securing marks of cut-off score . |
| Candidate should have passed BDS Degree examination from an Institution recognized by the Dental Council of India. |
| Candidates should have registered with Dental Council of India / State Dental Council. |
| BDS Graduates should have completed internship on or before 31-07-2022 from recognized Dental Colleges (by DCI). |
| In case of in-service candidates, Government service rendered shall be calculated as on 31-07-2023. |
| Candidates who satisfy the Local / Non Local status as per G.O.P No.646 Education (W) Department Dt:10.07.1979 only are eligible to apply for determining the State Merit position for Competent Authority Quota seats in respective categories using NEET MDS - 2023-24 score. Candidates are informed to read the Prospectus carefully regarding eligibility criteria before applying online. |

RESERVATION IN FAVOUR OF THE LOCAL CANDIDATES
Admission to 85% of the seats shall be reserved in favour of the local candidates in relation to the local area as provided in A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 for Non- State-Wide courses as given in Annexure-III of GO (P) No. 646, Edu. (W1) Department, dt.10-7-1979.Candidates who have studied bds in the states of telangana and andhra pradesh obtained degree are eligible.Must have registered with State Dental Council and subject to the fulfillment of the conditions stipulated in Regulations and its documentary proof should be uploaded along with online application.
LOCAL AREA:
| The part of the State comprising the Districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam shall be regarded as the local area for the purposes of admission to the Andhra University, **(Nagarjuna University) and to any other education institution (other than a State-wide University or State- wide Educational Institution) which is subject to the control of the State Government and is situated in that part. |
| The part of the State comprising the Districts of Adilabad, Hyderabad, Ranga reddy, Karimnagar, Khammam, Mahaboob nagar, Medak, Nalgonda, Nizamabad and Warangal shall be regarded as local area for the purposes of admission to the Osmania University,** (the Kakatiya University) and to any other educational institution (other than a State- wide University or State- wide Educational Institution) which is subject to the control of the State Government and is situated in that part. |

RESERVATIONS:
| 15%, 6%, 29% seats of Post Graduate Dental Degree MDS Courses are reserved for SC, ST and BC (BC-A-7%, BC-B-10%, BC-C-1%, BC- D-7% and BC-E- 4%) candidates respectively, which are called vertical reservations. |
| Candidates claiming reservations under SC/ST/BC categories shall upload latest social status certificate issued by Competent Authority of Government of Telangana as specified in the application form. Candidates claiming reservations under SC/ST/BC categories and obtained Social Status Certificates from the State of Andhra Pradesh will be eligible only for the castes included under the approved list of SC/ST/BC categories notified by the Government of Telangana. |
| 33 1/3% of seats shall be reserved for women and 5%seats shall be reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates respectively, which are horizontal reservations for Post Graduate Degree Courses. |
SERVICE CANDIDATES INCENTIVE OF ADDITIONOF WEIGHTAGE MARKS :
| The regular service candidates who have put in 2 years or more of continuous service in tribal area / 3 years or more of continuous service in rural area of service are eligible for addition of weightage of marks. The candidates should have qualified in the NEET MDS - 2023-24 Exam as per the cut-off marks prescribed for different categories to be eligible for addition of weightage of marks. MERIT LISTS
The final merit position of the candidates who have applied online in response to the notification issued by KNR University of Health Sciences for Competent Authority Quota seats shall be determined by NEET MDS - 2023-24 rank and as per their eligibility criteria, applicable regulations, guidelines and reservation policies viz::
| As per MDS Regulations of Dental Council of India, the candidates who secure minimum of 50 Percentile marks for General category,40 Percentile marks for SC / ST/ BC candidates and 45 Percentile of marks for Persons with Disability category candidates in NEET MDS - 2023-24 as per the cutoff scores, are only eligible for admission or as per any revised cut-off scores as decided by Government of India. |
| The University will release final merit list of eligible candidates for exercising web options after verification of uploaded certificates by the University and the concerned departmental officers. |
| NOTE: Candidates who have applied online in response to this office notification for determining merit position for Competent Authority Quota seats shall upload the certificates online along with the application. ADMISSION RULES:
The letter of selection of admission for selected candidates has to be downloaded from the website after payment of University fee through payment gateway.
| All the candidates including In-service candidates joining the MDS courses shall execute bond on a stamped paper of Rs. 100 /- as prescribed in Annexure-II to the effect that he/she will complete the prescribed period of training or in default to pay Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only) to the University and shall refund the amount received as stipend up to that date to the Government. |
| Bond for service after completion of degree : Candidate shall submit a bond for serving the State of Telangana as per existing Government Regulations at the time of admission. |
| The candidates who discontinue the course after issue of notification for final round of counseling or later will have to pay discontinuation fee of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only) They will be debarred from participating in counseling's for admission into MDS for a period of three (3) years under KNRUHS. |
| The original certificates submitted at the time of admission to the Principal of the allotted college shall not be returned to the candidates until they complete their course. |
