About College

      The Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College (MLBC), Jhansi, is a Government College established in the Year 1968. The College was affiliated to Bundelkhand University, located in Uttar Pradesh and currently it is affiliated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University with the annual intake of 150 seats in MBBS and 75 seats in 19 disciplines of Postgraduate studies. The Government of India has decided to upgrade the institute on lines of All India Institute of Medical Sciences as part of phase-3 of Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) whereby the Central Government will bear 80% of the cost of up gradation, and 20% cost will be borne by State Government.

The campus Spreads over lush Green area of 380 acres which houses main medical college building, teaching hospital, Doctors staff Quarters, Resident doctor hostel, Boys and Girls hostel, Playground and offer Supportive facilities. There are very good spacious 3 gallery type Lecture halls in the college with a seating capacity of 200 and a lecture theatre in the hospital. There are  Examination halls, Separate common rooms for Boys and Girls & Demonstration rooms. The Institute is fully equipped with Clinical Laboratories, Departmental Museums and Auditorium. Library and information center is located in a huge area on the first floor in the teaching block, having a capacity of 150 readers. It has good collection of Medical Books of over 10147, 85 Indian & Foreign Journals with separate reading space for students & Teaching Staff and a Digital Library. There are facilities for Indoor and Outdoor Games and Sports with volleyball and badminton facilities. The college has following hostels for its undergraduate and postgraduate students. The Teaching Hospital

The Maharani Laxmibai Medical College is the attached teaching hospital and it has started the exercise of E-Hospital on the lines of SGPGI Lucknow. After this the patients will get all the facilities online, which will save patients time. The doctor will also be able to see the patient's full record on the computer. After that the entire work related to treatment will start online. Besides the registration, the inquiry report will also be available online. Details of patients associated with other departments, including wards, ICU, operation theatre, will be available online. On the basis of UID, in cases of complex diseases, doctors will be able to advise them by looking at the online report. If operation is required, then patients will get an automatic generated number online.

Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, UP MBBS PG Admission  

Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, UP conducts the combined (Government and Private) admissions for UP PG medical. In order to participate in the admission process, it is necessary to fill the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, UP) medical application form in the online mode https://upneet.gov.in/ or  http://www.updgme.in/

STEPS FOR COUNSELLING PROCESS

Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, UP is conducting three rounds of Counseling for NEET PG 

  1. FIRST ROUND
  2. SECOND ROUND 
  3. MOP-UP ROUND (OFF-LINE)

ROUND -1

  • UP state merit, NEET-PG
  • College wise & category wise distribution of P.G. seats
  • List of registered candidates for online counseling.

Offline Process

  1. For Government Medical/Dental Colleges -Rest fee(in Cash) and Original documents to be submitted to allotted college - Go to medical board at allotted college/ nodal center -Eligible for participation in 2nd round. (up gradation of seat/college)
  2. For Private Medical/Dental Colleges -DD in favour of Director General Medical Education and Training UP Payable at Lucknow of remaining amount of tuition fee and original documents submit to nodal center not to allotted college -Go to medical board at nodal center -Eligible for participation in 2nd round. (up gradation of seat/college)
  • After allotment if candidate does not complete the admission process then security fee will be forfeited. If candidate wants to participate in 2nd round, then security fee is to be deposited again.
  • Candidate will be provided a button of <pay tuition fee> to submit online tuition fee at the page of allotment result. Candidate has to pay Rs. 30,000/- (Rs. Thirty thousand only) in case he/she has been allotted seat of Government Institutions. If the candidate has been allotted seat of private institution, he/she has to pay Rs. 2,00,000/- (Rs.Two lakhs only)

  • Mop-up counseling for seat allotment / admission will be held offline
  • On-Spot Registration (Candidate should submit full fee for course allotted along with original documents).
  1. Candidates can register for mop-up round by depositing 2000/- (Rs. Two thousand rupees) online by net banking/ debit card/ credit card/NEFTon the NIC website https://upneet.gov.in, Registration is mandatory.
  2. Mop-up round would be conducted at "Kalam center" in King George’s Medical university    Lucknow. Candidates should report at 11:00 AM on 23rd July 2020 and at 10:00 AM on the rest ofdates.
  3. Only those Candidates are eligible for Mop-up round who have not been allotted any seat in first and Second round ofUP NEET PG 2020 Counseling
  4. Candidates who have been allotted/admitted/ not joined/resigned any seat in UP will not be eligible for the Mop-Up round.
  5. Candidates who wish to opt the seats in private Medical colleges can prepare the DD in advance for Tuition fee. The DD for Clinical seats of Rs. 14.00 Lakh and for Pathology seats of Rs. 5.00 Lakh in favor of Director General Medical Education & Training U .P payable at Lucknow. (Only CTS Bank issued DD will be accepted).
