The Maharishi Markandeshwar Medical College & Hospital, Solan, is a Trust established in the Year 2013. The college is recognized by the Govt. of India and the National Medical Commission (NMC) and is affiliated to Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University), Mullana-Ambala under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 .Ideally located on Chandigarh-Shimla National Highway in the Devbhoomi of Himachal Pradesh at Kumarhatti-Solan.The Medical College has an annual intake of 150 MBBS seats, 69 seats in 13 Departments Post-Graduate studies. The college is excellently connected with Air, Rail, and Road route and it is very easy to reach from any part of the city hotspots. 4 lecture theatres of capacity 180 each and 1 lecture theatre of capacity 350 are available equipped with AC, Central heating system, Audiovisual facility, LCD projector, wi-fi, OHP, CCTV Cameras, Computer Network with LAN. Library is a hybrid library with the state-of-the-art technological applications. Library building, centrally located, has a sprawling space of 2,406 sqm, having designated areas for different sections of the library, which stimulate a nice ambiance for reading. Examination halls, centrally heated with a 250 capacity each. Separate Common room, for boys and girls with capacity of 150 each and attached toilets. There are separate hostels for for boys and girls MBBS Students, Interns and Resident doctors.Facilities for indoor and outdoor games like Table tennis, Badminton, Basket Ball, Volleyball ,Well equipped Gymnasium.

The Department of Medical Education & Research shall conduct Common Centralized Counseling through Centralized Counseling Committee constituted by the State Government for filling-up of 50% State Quota PG (MD / MS) Degree seats in Govt. Medical Colleges and Private Medical colleges of the State of Himachal Pradesh as per State merit drawn by the Centralized Counseling Committee (MD /MS) on the basis of marks/ score NEET-PG ( www.igmcshimla.edu.in )

ROUND 2

• Application Online Fee Payment (who have not done in Round 1)
• Document Verification (Manual) (who have not done in Round 1)
• Eligible list & seat matrix publication - Round 2
• Registration (who have not done in Round 1), Choice Filling and Locking of Choices
• Seat Allotment Process - Round 2
• Result Publication - Round 2
• Reporting for admission at the Allotted Institution - Round 2

*The candidates who opted the seat afresh during the 2nd round of Centralized Counselling in Government MedicalColleges of the State, are required to be deposited Rs. 25,000/- (for General category) and Rs. 12,500/-( for SC/ ST category) candidates in cash /Bank Draft as Registration fee with the authorities of Member Secretary of Centralized Counseling Committee before allotment of seat failing which seat will not be allotted to him/her .

* However, no candidate shall be allowed to participate in the Mop up and subsequent round ( if any) of Centralized Counselling after seat was allotted to him/her during the 1st and 2nd round of Centralized Counselling in the State of Himachal Pradesh .

After allotted of seat afresh ( no up gradation from one specialty to other in order of merit ) during the 2nd round of Centralized Counselling , if such candidate joined the course within stipulated joining period, the said registration fee shall be adjusted in tuition fee by the concerned college and such candidate shall not be eligible for subsequent round of Centralized Counselling/ Mop up round of counseling. If candidate do not joined, then the registration fee will be forfeited. However, such candidate is eligible to participate in the subsequent round of Centralized Counseling /Mop up round in order ofmerit

*Candidates who opted the seat afresh during the 2 nd round of Centralized Counselling in Private Medical college are required to be deposited Rs. 2,00,000/- in the shape of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Maharishi Markandeshwer Medical College, Solan as Registration fee with the authorities of Member Secretary of Counseling Committee before allotment of seat failing which seat will not be allotted .If such candidate joined the course, the said registration fee shall be adjusted in tuition fee b
