The Faculty of Dental Sciences was earlier the M.S. Ramaiah Dental College and Hospital and was established in 1991. The Faculty offers a 4-year undergraduate programme including one year internship leading to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree and a 3-year postgraduate programme leading to the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree.

KEA – Karnataka Examination Authority conducts counselling for Government Medical College (50% seats and another 50% will be conducted by MCC), 100% seat allotment in Private Medical College ( includes Non-Minority, Linguistic minority, Religious minority institutions) ,Private University by KEA .

KEA counselling is conducted in 3 rounds, 1st round, 2nd round & Mop-up round. Application form will be available in the PGET section in https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/

Mop Up Round:-

• Fresh entries are allowed in mop-up round.

• In 2020 extended mop-up round was done which was offline after decrease of percentile.

Stray vacancy round:-

• Institutional Mop-up round of counselling. seats left vacant or remaining unfiled still after a mop-up round of KEA counselling. This round is conducted by colleges to fill the left-over seat. List of the registered candidates name for Stray vacancies to be sent to private college to be exhausted strictly in order of merit.
