The Sambharam Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Kolar, is a Trust established in the Year 2016, Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, located in Karnataka. Sambharam Institute of Medical Sciences and Research is developed in an area of 30 acres of land with the immediate built up area of 6,00,000 sqft including 300 bedded Multispeciality Hospital along with all other medical amenities as per the guidelines of Medical Council of India (MCI) Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore and Government of Karnataka.

Admission Process

KEA – Karnataka Examination Authority conducts counselling for Government Medical College (50% seats and another 50% will be conducted by MCC), 100% seat allotment in Private Medical College by KEA (which includes Non-Minority, Linguistic minority, Religious minority institutions). KEA counselling is conducted in 3 rounds, 1st round, 2nd round & Mop-up round. Application form will be available in PGET section in https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/pget

First Round :-

Mop Up Round:-

  • Fresh entries are allowed in mop-up round.

  • Option entry (it was done online in 2020, whereas in 2019 it was offline counselling)
  • In 2020 extended mop-up round was done which was offline after decrease of percentile.

Stray vacancy round:-

  • (Institutional Mop-up round of counselling. seats left vacant or remaining unfiled still after a mop-up round of KEA counselling. This round is conducted by colleges to fill the left-over seat).

Note: The Admission Process is written as per the ordinance of the official Counselling Agency.
