Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital was established in 2021 at Samayapuram, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, under the Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Charitable and Educational Trust. The institution was founded with the vision of becoming a center of excellence in medical education, research, and healthcare services while providing quality treatment to the people of central Tamil Nadu. The college functions under Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University and is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). It is also affiliated with The Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai for academic approvals and curriculum standards. The institution currently offers the MBBS program with an annual intake of 150 students and has also begun postgraduate courses in selected specialties.
