Vananchal Dental College & Hospital

The Vananchal Dental College & Hospital is spread in sprawling 100 acre of land in Garhwa, Located in the state of Jharkhand. The foundation of this Institute was laid by Vananchal Educational & Welfare Trust in 2006. Vananchal Dental College & Hospital is recognized by Dental council of India and is affiliated to Nilamber Pitamber University. The college has recognised under-graduate (BDS) program with total intake capacity of 100 admissions annually. BDS has curriculum spanning over 4 years plus compulsory 1-year rotating internship. This college also has recognised post-graduate (MDS) program in Seven clinical branches with total intake capacity of 16 admissions annually. MDS program is of 3 years during which student must undertake and perform many academic, clinical and research activities.

Lecture Halls

The college having lecture halls with a capacity of 120 students. The lecture halls are well equipped with all modern facilities like audiovisual, LCD projector with well lighted and ventilated.

Hostels

Boys & Girls hostels are separately available at the college campus. The hostels are double stories building. Rooms are T-shape triple bedded and double bedded with good mess facilities and indoor games like Badminton, Table Tennis, Carom Board, Chess, etc. The hostel provided with Guest room for parent & Guardians. The warden room is also attached to the hostel building for the proper care of students. Gents and Ladies warden is appointed to look after Boy’s and Girl’s hostel respectively.

Laboratories

The laboratories are well equipped with an adequate number of scientific instruments so that each student gets full exposure & chance to handle them. Computer interface with related equipment is emphasized during the course. Department of Biochemistry, Dept. of Physiology, Dept. of Anatomy, Dept. of Dental Anatomy, Dept. of Oral Pathology, Dept. of Pharmacology, Dept. of Pathology, Dept. of Histology, Dept. of Microbiology and separate Dissection hall with cadaver facilities are available for the practical training. Besides, each department has good ventilation, water incoming & outgoing facility.

Vananchal Dental College & Hospital has been tie-up with 100 bedded Government Sadar Hospital, Garhwa (Jharkhand) to provide necessary training to all concern students of the college.

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (J.C.E.C.E.B) conducts the combined (Government and Private) admissions for Jharkhand MDS. Note:

1. Application Form Rs. 500/- will be paid to the college

2. 1st Year Fee of Rs. 7,00,000/- (inclusive of Admission, Registration, and Library fee) will be paid at the time of Admission

3. 2nd and 3rd year Fee of Rs. 7, 00,000/- per annum will be paid before starting of each academic session.

4. Lodging Charge Rs. 24,000/- per Annam will be paid by the student to the college before starting the academic session and mess charge will be paid by the student directly to the mess contractor as per mess bill (Rs. 2000/- per month).

5. Transportation charge Rs. 2000/- per Annam will be paid by the student to the college
