Nootan Medical College and Research Centre

The Nootan Medical College and Research Centre, Mehsana functions under the Private University - Sankalchand Patel University and is run by the Nootan Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal (NSVKM). The medical college was established in the year 2019 is affiliated to Sankalchand Patel University and and recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC), India with an annual intake of 150 MBBS seats.

The Medical College campus and the Teaching Hospital are located in a sprawling over an area of 43.66 acres which houses the main buildings of Medical College, Hospital and hostels for students and residential quarters for different categories of staff, Paramedical, Technical, & Science Courses. The Medical college has an excellent state of the art infrastructure Lecture halls, Examination halls & Demonstration rooms. The Institute is fully equipped with clinical Laboratories, Departmental Museums and Auditorium. Library and information center is located in a huge area with good collection of Medical Books of over 25,000, Indian & Foreign Journals with separate reading space for students & Teaching Staff and a Digital Library. The Nootan Sports Complex has an excellent facility for Indoor and Outdoor Games and Sports. It includes a large playground with a full-size running track, a cricket pitch, a football ground, a basketball court as well as indoor facilities such as table-tennis, yoga, chess, and various other games. The Medical college is attached to a 300 bedded Nootan General Hospital with Pre-clinical, Para-clinical and Clinical facilities. It is a tertiary care hospital with 24X7 emergency and trauma care facility with modern Eye bank and blood bank facilities. There are modern advanced clinical and diagnostic facilities in the Hospital. The Hospital's general specialities include General Medicine, General Surgery, OBG, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Radiodiagnosis, ENT, Ophthalmology, Anaesthesiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Biochemistry & Forensic Medicine.
